Indiana bound.

We are heading to Indianapolis this Friday. We have an appointment with Dr. Foster from Indiana University on Friday afternoon. We are thankful for getting in to see him so quickly (we believe that was a God thing).  We are also so thankful that we have someone who is so talented within driving range. This will be just a consultation to go over the surgery and schedule it. I called Dr. Foster's office this afternoon for an idea of when surgery would be scheduled and they are thinking the week of the 17th. We are hoping that when we see him he will have a opening as soon as possible, we would like to get it done and behind us.
Thank you so much for all the notes and emails, they are so incredibly uplifting.
Thank you to everyone who is praying for us, we believe we can feel the arms of God surrounding us.

  1. Hi-
You don't know me and my husband, but I just read of your situation on the RidgePoint Prayer Forum and came here. Just wanted you to know that we will be praying for you as you head back to Indy later this week, and in the time ahead. Plan to follow the blog for updates, and praying for you to feel God's presence every step of the way as He works out His plan for you in all of this!

  2. Drew and Jamie,
We are praying daily for you! We will pray that there will be an opening in the doctor's schedule so that you can get the operation sooner than the week of the 17th. We love you both so much and will support you and your family in anyway that we can.
    Love,
    Aunt Lisa

  3. Drew & Jamie,
We can't imagine the hurt and dissapointment on the recent news. Just know we and MANY others are praying for you daily! For strength to keep fighting this dumb cancer, for some peace & calm as it must be so scary, for safe travels to & from Indiana, and that gods awesome strength & healing hands guide the surgeons hands as they operate. I love reading your blog-keep it up -(as if you dont' have enough to do right?) but it lets us all know what prayers are needed :) and your last blog was so special to know that you feel gods love and arms surrounding you !! Power or prayer !
    with love ,
